Andrea Dowis is a graphic designer and artist living in Acworth, Georgia. She is currently working toward her BFA at Kennesaw State University, concentrating in Graphic Communication. Enveloped in a world of fantasy, music, intrigue of the natural world and doodles--she found a home in design and illustration. Andrea began designing for her father in her early teens and found she had an aptitude for it. This skill carried her to the Sprayberry High School literary magazine staff in 2004; where she helped design and execute award winning layout and cover designs. In addition to developing a strong design background, Andrea has aspirations of taking her illustrations to a new level. Having taken courses in design, anthropology, illustration, music, sculpture and environmental writing she creates a unique illustrative world. At present her personal work explores the ideas of environment and technology.
